FAQ

What extension method do you offer?

I offer Invisible Bead Extensions, a hidden bead method.

How much do extensions cost?

Extensions are a luxury custom service and the price can very depending on the length, amount of rows and texture of hair used. You can expect to spend on average between $1200-$3000 the price may be more or less.

What products do I use?

I recommend using high quality professional products on your mane! I strongly recommend Kevin Murphy’s Young Again line and Goldie Locks. I will have this on hand for your convenience to purchase when you sit in my chair. I absolutely love these products on my own hair, and I have tried MANY. They are super lightweight but leave the hair feeling very conditioned and shiny.

How often do I have to move up my extensions? and how much will it cost?

Extensions need to be refreshed and moved up every 6-10 weeks depending on each individuals hair strength. Move ups cost $175 per row and it includes rooting and toning the extensions.

How often will I have to get new hair?

The hair will last anywhere from 8-10 months. This is quite a range because a lot depends on you! Not brushing correctly, going to bed with wet hair, using too much heat and not using the correct hair products can cause wear and tear on your extension hair. But if you take amazing care of it, it can last quite a long time!

Can I use sunscreen or tanners while wearing extension?

Yes please use sunscreen to protect your skin, but use sunscreen that does not contain AVOBENZONE. Bare Republic or Goldie Locks are good brand. When the hair touches your skin with the wrong kind of sunscreen and is exposed to the sun, it turns the extensions peach and will result in likely having to buy new hair! Please be careful with sunscreen and pull your hair up and off your body. Wear your hair up and use a shower cap when receiving spray tans and applying self tanner as the product will stain your extensions causing discoloration.

Can I go swimming?

Do not submerge hair extensions in salt water or chlorine water. We advise wearing your hair in a high bun while lounging in the water. Sorry, sis. It's a sacrifice for beauty
